You're going to love the extra long distance driver from Innova called the Shryke. The star shryke has two great qualities you look for in a distance driver, lots of glide, and good early turn. With a glide of 6 this disc is going to stay airborne longer and with a -2 turn the disc will flip over at the beginning of the flight making it a long S curve flight. The shryke will be most useful as your go to long range driver or as a right to left finish after left to right fairway disc. The benefit of using Innova star plastic is the durability of the disc and the ability to break the disc in more quickly. Star plastic tends to be less stable than champion, and the shryke benefits from more turn early on to give maximum distance. If you find you're having trouble flipping a high speed driver try a star plastic shryke. When flat released the disc should move quickly before fighting back at the end.
The artwork by Marm O. Set is incredible. The fourth disc in the zen series is an absolute stunner. One of the coolest things about the disc is that the Shrykes are life sized. A full grown shrike only weighs about 70 grams, they're fierce birds with a killer instinct to spear their prey on thorns or barbed wire which Marm O. Set works beautifully into the disc. There's also the balance between turn and fade that is captured in the struggle between these two predatory birds. Pick up a Shryke today and own a piece of artwork that flies as beautifully as it looks.
