The Innova Star Halo Lion Limited Edition disc is a mid range that roars and soars through the air. Throw this disc when you need good glide and great touch. It's beautiful to look at in the hand, on the wall, or in the air.
The Star Lion when released flat is an overstable mid range disc. If you're familiar with the Roc, it's similar in stability. They both want to fight to fade. But it's also similar to the Shark in that it wants to glide forward. It's an in between flight disc, it doesn't fade as much or glide as far. So why would you want that? It's a different and more controlled flight. The Lion is perfect for your golf game because sometimes you just need a little less fade than a Roc and a little more distance. It's tough to find midrange discs that work for sidearm and backhand but with the deeper rim this one works great! This disc will do well released flat or on a hyzer. On an anhyzer it's going to pan out instead of flipping all the way over so ride the glide and enjoy it.
Star plastic is the choice of almost every top pro. It's durable and reliable. When you're looking for plastic that beats in well and takes a long time to get understable this is the choice. It's grippy and the Halo plastic has a slight sheen to it that makes it a little extra tacky and even more grip for your hands.
The Halo series is are discs that have an outer ring referred to as the Halo. They tend to be a stiffer star plastic and have amazing designs on the stamp. These discs are great for golf and great for looking at on your wall. The Halo ring sort of looks like a lion's mane so it perfectly fits the theme. So far the Lion is the first midrange of the Halo series, they've already made the Destroyer, Wraith, and Shryke as well. These discs are limited, and they tend to sell quickly so grab one while you can!
