The Innova Star Overmold Avatar INNfuse Disc Golf Mid-Range is a stable mid that's designed for straight flight. Overmold technology is leading to different flight patterns and it's the future in disc golf.
The flight of the Avatar is similar to its cousins the Atlas, Lion, and Roc3. It wants to be released flat and have a quick flight to the basket. With a speed of 5 it doesn't take much power to get the Avatar going, it's perfect for newer players or experienced ones as well. A glide rating of 4 is low, and this disc isn't designed to glide far. It's sort of a point and shoot disc. With a turn of 0 and a fade of 2 it's going to be straight until it runs out of power. You won't flip this disc the way you do with other more neutral flying mids. It's great for backhand players and forehand players will appreciate the small rim.
This disc will be made in the Star Plastic. It's everything you love about Star in the flight plate, all of that grip, durability, and flex that you're used to. In Overmold technology from Innova there will be a second part to the disc, an outer ring made of a different plastic. The price for this is a the same as other premium plastic discs even though it takes more time to assemble. Innova and Sabattus Disc Golf know that you want to play the game not break the bank.
These discs just got approved by the PDGA in October of 2019 and it's debuting almost a year later. It's the second mid range in the overmold technology from Innova, grab one and join the fun!
