The Innova Star Halo Lion Factory Second is a disc with cosmetic flaws. Something wasn't perfect in either the dyeing or stamping process so the factory put an X on it and stamped it differently. These discs are all unique and fly exactly the same as their stock stamp counterparts.
The Lion is a stable mid range that has maximum glide. Many players start with the Shark or the Roc as one of their starting discs, this is kind of a mix between the two. The Roc is overstable, and doesn't have much glide. The Shark can be flippy and glides for days. The Lion is a perfect balance, it has more glide than a Roc so it flies a bit further. But it won't flip on you like a Shark does. This disc has a beaded rim that you won't notice after a few throws. It's perfect for controlled hyzers, and long slow shots. Try this disc out with either a sidearm hyzer or a flat backhand for best results.
Star plastic is one of the most popular plastics in the game. It's durable, reliable, and affordable. A disc in star plastic can be thrown for years and even when it hits trees it will fly normal. You won't have to worry about this disc getting flippy and no matter the weather you'll be able to maintain a good grip.
What makes these limited edition discs special is the outer ring called the Halo. The Halo series debuted in 2020 and is taking off like a rocket! So far Innova has released drivers and mid-range discs in this series such as the Shryke, Wraith, Destroyer, TL3, and the Lion! These factory second discs are even more special because they offer so many unique stamps and swirls that were deemed "not perfect". Here's your chance to grab an even more special disc while you have the chance!
